Diplomat, Without Portfolio

On April 18, 1983, a van loaded with bombs hit and exploded at the main entrance of the American embassy in Beirut, killing sixty-three people, including eighteen high-ranked US diplomats. This is the life experience of a survivor who suffered all his life but continued to perform his duties as a liaison officer between American embassies in Athens and Beirut, although not as a diplomat. He supervised many diplomats and was ready for future challenges. As a Foreign Service national personnel and as survivor of a terrorist attack, this is to share and make available for future reference the agony and trauma he encountered and suffered due to the incident. He hopes to share and make a record of the knowledge and experience he gained.
