About the Author - The Bond family was rooted in West Virginia before statehood. James was born in Remington, Virginia, and grew up among the family roots in West Virginia. At age seventeen, he joined the US Marine Corps where an intentional enlistment became an accidental career.

During his career, James graduated from Vanderbilt University with a bachelor of engineering degree in electrical engineering and a master of science from the Naval Postgraduate School.

Since leaving the Marine Corps, James graduated from Shenandoah University with an MBA and has worked as an engineer to assist the design and deployment of several satellite communication systems.

James currently resides in Monmouth County, New Jersey, with his wife, Michele.
