Guarded Secrets

A stoic but short-tempered bodyguard is hired to protect a hyperactive, loudmouthed, but talented drummer after he refuses to take hush money from a high-profile producer.

All they have to do is make it to trial, but both are harboring dark secrets. A traumatic family history, abuse of body and power, and stubbornness work against both bodyguard and client, making them question their morals and humanity. Voicing their truths puts them in physical danger. Keeping them quiet threatens their mentality.
